The Liebster Award

Thank you to the wonderful blog My Writers Block for the Liebster Award nomination!

The Liebster Award is a sort of chain mail or tag list for bloggers, in which you answer questions from the person who nominated you and give more questions to the people you nominate, it is essentially just a nice way to tell a blog that you like them and also tell people about the blogs you like through nominating them.

 The rules are:

• Post the Liebster Award graphic on your site.
• Thank the blogger who nominated your blog.
• The nominee is asked to write 11 facts about themselves.
• Answer the 11 questions from the post of the person who nominated them.
• The nominee will nominate 9 other blogs.
• The nominee will then create 11 questions of their own for their nominated bloggers to answer in their Liebster Award post.

So first off, the graphic;

 

Then the person who nominated me, as I said this was My Writers Block, a blog that you can find by clicking this; http://smukkecirsten.wordpress.com/ and is a blog I follow after actually seeing the name in the post of the person tagging her ironically enough, seriously go check out their blog, it is great.

Now, my 11 facts, I always find this difficult so sorry if you don’t find these the most exciting;

1. I am a college student, currently studying literature, chemistry and psychology (I know they go together great right!).
2. I have a brother who is a few years older than me.
3. My favourite book is ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ by John Green.
4. Related to fact 3, I am a nerdfighter (check out https://www.youtube.com/user/vlogbrothers if you don’t know what this is).
5. Toystory 3 is my favourite film.
6. My favourite song is ‘Looking for Alaska’ by Hank Green (based on John Green’s book).
7. I love to go for bike rides, especially through woods.
8. When I was a kid, I thought I would actually be a princess when I grew up.
9. The sound of people cracking their joints is worse than scraping chalk on blackboards to me.
10. I have a pet guinea pig called Coffee who is adorable.
11. My favourite video games at the minute are the new Pokemon X and Y, and Team Fortress 2.

Here are my answers to the questions given to me;

1. Coffee or tea? – Coffee, I love cappuccinos, lattes, and recently tried frappuccinos which were quite nice, sadly, I can’t get used to the taste of tea. 
2. When was the last time you did swim in the ocean? – Actually swimming not for a while, maybe a couple years, just paddling was this summer though.
3. What time zone are you in? – GMT, I live in England.
4. If you could meet anyone, who would you want to meet? – John Green, I know I could meet people who have completely changed the world rather than my favourite writer, but his books and videos really made me a lot more confident and I wouldn’t be who I am now without him and his brother.
5. Has there ever been anybody in your life who, if circumstances had been different, could have become the one, but who got away? – No chance, I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world, there is no one else for me 🙂
6. What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done? – I’m not really sure on this one, I did cry on the first date with my boyfriend because the film we were watching was sad,that was embarrassing at the time but not really looking back on it because I cry at nearly every film I watch.
7. What do you want for Christmas? – I would love Disney Infinity as I love Disney films and this game looks really awesome.
8. Have you ever walked home alone in the dark, walking in the middle of the street, singing loudly because you were scared? Why did you go there? – I tend to walk with people at night, just because I am a bit of a wimp, but I think I have done this when not alone, as we were all walking to the bus stop and there wasn’t any path on the side of the road (it was a small one with banks instead).
9. What is your favorite food? – Pasta, I love it
10. What is your favorite time of the year and why? – Autumn when everything is slightly cold but it is all colourful.
11. When did you start to write? – I always used to write stories as a kid, mostly about me as a princess, and then about horses, and then just random ones, so really I just always have, but as far as my blog goes, that’s been going on since July.
